Asteroid Pull
Introduction
You are a ship tasked with defending the Earth from incoming asteroids. Ram into them to knock them off course, use your tether beam to fling them out into space, or knock them into each other to make them destroy themselves. The Earth has a shield with three levels that recharge over time, but if an asteroid hits it while all shields are down, you lose!
Controls
W | Accelerate forward (note that the movement in this game is momentum based, so you don't have to keep holding w to keep moving forward) |
A | Turn left (counterclockwise) |
S | Slow down (no matter what direction you're moving in or facing, this will just reduce your speed, but will never completely stop you) |
D | Turn Right (clockwise) |
Lmb | Activate tether beam |
Rmb | When tethered to an asteroid, release tether beam |
Tips and Tricks
- Don't move too fast and stay near the Earth. Keeping control of your movement is key to surviving!
- Making asteroids hit each other gives more points than sending them off into space
- It's possible to make asteroids orbit the Earth for an extra bit of protection if you hit them right
- When an asteroid is tethered to you, it can't hit the Earth, so when in doubt, tether!
- Most importantly, have fun!
